- First Annual Boston Freeform Gift Swap

Saturday, January 31st
2:00PMHoliday Season has passed, and thus, it is with pride that Banditos Misteriosos announces its First Annual Boston Freeform Gift Swap!
Consider this your usual Yankee Gift Swap, but with a bunch of twists.
Expect a maelstrom of gift trading, swapping and throwing.
We do not expect you to buy anything or trade any of your new-found gifts for your fellow banditos. Far from it!
On top of that, we shall be tweaking the trading logistics a bit. Expect a round-robin combined with some additional changes to keep things moving.
Specifics
———-Gift Details:
The gift should not be bought in any fashion. The house, the city itself is a treasure trove of free gifts. The idea behind this event is:
Once you wrap something up, it becomes a gift.
We expect you to find something entertaining to give away. Something that will bring a simple smile.
It can be found in your house, along your way back from work, or for free on Craigslist. A chair. Your kindergarten class photo. A Couch. A What-have-you.
Of course, be creative! A wrapped up water bottle is just sub-par.
Wrapping Details:
The greatest part of getting a gift is unwrapping it, thus, we are asking that every gift be wrapped! But, in the spirit of being environmentally responsible, we ask that all gifts be wrapped in old paper products. Anything from old wrapping paper to outdated YM magazines are fair game.
Of course, some gifts might be difficult to wrap, but thats the challenge!
Location:
TBA on Monday, January 26th.
Swapping Instructions:
All will be explained at the event on the 31st.
———-
Besides that, everything is pretty much straight forward. Good luck hunting for that perfect gift!
As always, spread the word! Leaving people out of gift-giving is purely not in the holiday spirit after all.

On October 25, 2008, over 100 Banditos Ghosts braved the sunlight and cold, showing up to do what ghosts do best, dance. This time though, they followed the cues of pumpkins, witches and tombstones while listening to a customized Halloween Monster Mash-Up. As always, continue on for the entire explanation with pictures, movies and audio.
- Revolutionary Water Gun Battle
On August 16th, 2008, the British and Colonists met again on the Esplinade. This time, they did battle with water-guns. Over 375 Banditos swarmed the Esplanade for an all out battle. Speeches were given. Muskets were loaded. And yes, Robots with bubbles stormed the field.
As always, sometimes we need to just go to the pictures.
- First Annual Boston Scavenger Hunt

On June 28th, 2008, over 400 Banditos, making up 43 teams, swarmed all over Boston, taking part in the First Annual Boston Scavenger Hunt. The hunt was one part Barter Challenge, one part Persuasion and one part Riddle-Solving.
Make sense? Sometimes you just have had to be there.
